I recommend wetting the end of the swab first with saliva. A slightly wetted swab seems absorb more or the oil residue vs a dry swab. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTake out a  napkin\/ paper towel and turn the pivot upside down - the pearl should fall out. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e (Doing this over a paper towel) \u003cstrong\u003eIf you're using a hot knife or saber, t\u003c\/strong\u003ehe tip fits in-between the plate and the atomizer wall. Position the tool in that crevice, and start heating the tip. As you start to see smoke rise, begin to slowly try to flip the plate. Continue to heat the tip and begin to tilt the pivot until the plate can be pulled away on the flat part of the tip. Dump the plate on the paper towel.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e(Doing this over a paper towel) \u003cstrong\u003eIf you're using a metal tool pick\u003c\/strong\u003e - start a heat cycle. When the Pivot gets to temp, Position the tool in that crevice, and begin to slowly try to flip the plate.
