Aeris Pendant Adapter

When Made With ASA Filament 

- Superior UV  & Water/ Weather Resistance (making it the best filament to use for outdoor applications) 

- Temp Resistance of slightly over 210*f ( this will not deform out in the sun, if you leave it in your car on the hottest day of the summer ) (or warp due to super humid environment) 

- you can even sand the adapter, apply adhesive paint primer and paint it!

- best way to clean 

While a quick wipe might be harmless, prolonged contact or soaking can cause damage, making the surface cloudy, brittle, or cracked.

A far safer method for cleaning ASA plastic is using warm, soapy water with a mild detergent.

This filament requires careful temperature control during printing to prevent warping, requiring higher-end machines to print. The fumes that off-gas during the printing are highly toxic, and require additional ventilation as well. 

This factor was considered when determining what to price this adapter for.

if you wanted to take the extra steps 🤘😁 Asa has special properties so that you can paint it, even vapor smooth it with acetone( look it up)

WHEN MADE WITH PRO PCTG 

- quite a bit more expensive filament vs ASA

- is capable of withstanding temps of between

(140F - 160F)

- not as UV resistant or as water resistant as ASA, though is still excellent! If you intended to leave the adapter outside in the elements long term, or frequently use backlights- ASA would technically  be better suited for the task. 

- Excellent Chemical Resistance: PCTG can handle exposure to various chemicals without degrading, suitable for items in contact with oils, solvents, or cleaning agents. 

-This means that you can wipe down with 99% iso 🤘😤

- PCTGs makeup is more transparent than ASA (generally opaque) also. This allows for more color options including clear! 

BUT WHAT IS THE PIVOT PENDANT ADAPTER?  

Walk around wearing your pivot vs keeping it in your pocket frees up pocket space and makes the pivot easier to access! 

This Clip is meant to attach towards the middle of the Aeris device as shown in the pictures above 👆

Putting It On And Taking It Off 

Install is easy.

1. Take the Aeris mouthpiece off
2. Place the adapter where the mouthpiece was - lanyard loop facing upwards
3. While slightly pushing back on the 2 notches on the front of the adapter, slide the adapter down the body of the Aeris
4. The adapter will fit more firmly as you slide it towards the middle of the Aeris body

To Take it Off 

With one thumb on each handle, push it back up and off of the device. These are a type of plastic, so you don’t want to try to force them open too widely, or they could crack. There will be a video demonstration attached above 👆
